Sherwood Park Photography Getting your hair and makeup done for your photo session I believe is crucial! Our hair and makeup stylists are professionals and know what photo ready make up looks like. I would say about 98% of the woman who come through our studio get their hair and makeup done, but there are always questions for why they should be adding that on to their boudoir photo session. Everyday makeup is not photo ready makeup. A woman may be very good at doing her own hair and makeup but does not realize the difference between a boudoir photo look and a girls night out look. Even if your going after a more natural look, our artists know exactly what to do! Chelsea made sure to get her hair and makeup done for her session, and it turned out so good! It really adds that little something to your photos.

Tattoo Boudoir Photography - Samantha

Tattoo Boudoir Photography Having tattoos are a great way of expressing yourself and what better way to show them off then to get some boudoir photos done! Samantha works out of a tattoo shop on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton called Hand Crafted Tattoo. With many of her own tattoos we had lots of fun showing those pieces off. Boudoir Photography. Natural beauty is just stunning, and after having a child, it just shines through even more. Hannah came into the studio back in April and kept her photo shoot very simple. After recently having a baby she wanted to embrace her new body and wasn't shy nor afraid to show it off. She brought a few outfits to try out but wanted to do mostly black and white nudes. It was so empowering photographing her and seeing the confidence she has in herself. She loved her new "mummy tummy" she said, and I loved that about her! I have a lot of people ask me why my clients want to come in for boudoir photos? What benefit do the women get to of the photos? I think most of the women who come here at first want to do something nice for their husbands, or boyfriends, but not all the women have a partner. Women today are constantly reminded of what is sexy in our society, and many women don't feel they add up. Professional Boudoir photos help to change that. When a women comes to our studio she is pampered and praised. Her mommy or career woman cape is hung at the door, so she can slip into a set of 5 inch stiletto heels, and pearls. By the time she is walking out the door she feels sexy, confident, and wondering why she didn't do it sooner. Many of the clients we see at our studio come from outside the Edmonton area, like Terina who came to see us all the way from Fort McMurrey. I just love shooting in our new studio. The natural window light creates beautiful soft images perfect for boudoir. Kacey was one of our clients from a resent Marathon session. Like most women who come to our studio she was looking for sexy, but classy images to use as a gift for her man. After having kids it is common that women don't feel as sexy as they used to. Boudoir is a great way to redefine yourself image after having kids. I find many women realize that their stretch marks aren't as bad as they think they are and even if they still have a few extra pounds to lose they still are beautiful.
