Curvy Women in Boudoir - Pink Blush

We love Curvy Women in Boudoir! We want to show each and every woman out there, that they are beautiful no matter what size they are.

We have had a lot of women come up to us or call in and say that they are very nervous to get boudoir photos as they are a curvy. Don't be nervous! We photograph women of ALL shapes and sizes, and in our time with Pink Blush, at least 50% of the women who come to us have some curves going on! Don't be scared away due to your shape our size, all women are beautiful, and that's what we are here to show you!

It's all about outfits and posing honestly! Making sure you have the right kind of outfit and the perfect pose is really what boudoir is all about. If your a curvy girl and need some ideas for your boudoir shoot for what to wear, look at these stunning ladies photos and take ideas from them! Corsets work great to accentuate your shape, even waist cinchers being paired with a bra and panty set show off your shape and give you an hourglass figure!

Five Curvy And Fabulous Women To Follow On IG

Our recent blog post, Curvy is the New Black, was so popular that we decided to find some fabulous plus size models on Instagram to follow. Now, that being said, this is by no means a "real women" campaign, because we believe real women come in all different sizes; slim, athletic, curvy, short and tall. We just think that these women have embraced who they are and rock it! They have great style and are all beautiful in their own unique way. We love it when clients give us Reviews! The beautiful Dori-lyn came to us in January and had such a great time! Here photos look amazing and she came away with a really beautiful album of herself. Here's what she had to say about her whole experience: "I had the most amazing time at my photo shoot! Calie played a huge role in making the whole experience so comfortable. I had left a bad relationship a while ago and although my boyfriend now tells me I'm beautiful, I never really saw it until I saw the pictures that were taken. Not only did I have fun and feel fully relaxed at my shoot, the pictures turned out way better than I could have ever imagined. Wedding Boudoir Photos - Erin

Tis the season for Wedding Boudoir Photos! As wedding season fast approaches, what better gift to give to that special someone, then beautiful boudoir photos of yourself! You can go traditionally in the sense of having a bridal themed outfit that's light coloured or white or use a veil or garter! Or you can incorporate an outfit that your special someone really loves to see you in! Wedding Boudoir Photos can be anything you want it to be! Erin came in to the studio in February for some beautiful bridal boudoir photos. Using simple bra and panty outfits, along with a robe that reads bride on the back were great ideas for her shoot! Boudoir Photography - Veronique

Boudoir Photography is a great gift to give to someone, whether it be a girlfriend, mother, wife, or daughter! Miss Veronique came to our studio back in April as her mother purchased a session for her as a gift. She had boudoir photos done when she was her age, and wanted to give this wonderful gift to her daughter. She had one request for her, to wear the same robe that she wore for her photos, and so she did! Incorporating the new with the old, her photos turned out amazing! Check them out below. Insider's Guide To Shopping For Your Boudoir Outfits

1. Finding the perfect fit! Whether you're buying something new or you're using an item you found in your closet, it is so important to try it on before you get here. Your body can change over time, so don’t just assume your new or old outfit will fit. You don’t want something that is going to pinch your body in the wrong ways because this will make you uncomfortable and not as confident for your shoot. This includes everything from panties, bras, and stockings too! If you are buying new stockings, it's smart to buy one size bigger, that way they won't pinch your thighs or give you a bubble.

2. Buying new? Don’t be afraid to ask the experts advice!

Either give us a call or ask that friendly lingerie consultant at Victoria’s Secret. We are the professionals and know what works best for most body types, so if you’re just not too sure what to get, ask!

3. Try something new!

What better excuse to try something new than a boudoir shoot! If you are bored of your lingerie options and feeling adventurous, you might want to consider something new and daring. Nothing makes a woman feel sexier than a pair of brand new panties or sexy lingerie, and if doing this for your man, I’m sure he will appreciate it too!

4. What is your favourite part about yourself? Let's highlight it!

If you want to accentuate your eyes or lips, opt for a professional to do your make up and express that with them. You want to pamper yourself on this day, so leave the work to the experts and sit back and relax! Also if there is a certain body part you want to show off, do your research and try on different styles of lingerie to see what works best with your body. Here is a quick run down on some styles that look particularly good on certain types:

Long and Tall

Accentuate those long legs of yours with a garter belt and stockings. Retro style high waisted panties can also help make you look even longer and show off those legs.

Big Chest

Making sure you have good support will help your cleavage look extra good for your shoot. You could wear a corset or a bra with a halter neckline that accentuates and shows off your cleavage.

Curvy

Try a corset to show off that hourglass figure of yours. Not only will it highlight your curves but it will also make your waist look smaller and hold everything together!

Plump Booty

If you want to show off all of the squats you have been doing, be sure to get a few different types of panties that will show off your derrière. If you are feeling extra fierce, try a sexy thong!

Curvy Is The New Black

Plus size models have been around for years but have been taking over the internet because of campaigns like Sports Illustrated #curvesinbikinis starring plus size model, Ashley Graham, and stories like Tess Holliday who is now the largest model (US size 22) to sign with a top photo agency in the UK. Examples like these show that the industry is starting to wake up and realize that not everyone is a size zero or has any desire to be. Healthy body image is IN and unrealistic expectations of ourselves is OUT! Being curvy has never been so fabulous!

Here at Pink Blush, we love the fact that so many people are now opting to get tattoos and are choosing to express themselves through this type or artwork.
