Miss N } Client Review

Miss N came to our studio back in December, and had some really cute outfit ideas. She had even saw a shoot that we did with some plaid red bedding a while back (on location shoot), and brought her own red plaid bedding with her to use.

Boudoir Photography Edmonton Pink Blush } Miss A Feather Light Soul

“The best way to have a feather light soul is to keep letting go.”

Holding  onto resentment will only hold you back. Whether it’s the guy that cut you off in traffic or an ex who cheated on you, holding on to negative emotions towards anyone or any circumstance will only prevent you from moving forward. Forgiveness is rarely about the other person it’s about you. If you want a truly blissful life your goal in all your affairs should be to act with tolerance, patients, kindness, and love.

i have had some recent revelations myself on this matter. Over the past two years I have really been working on taking better care of my health, but there has been a few things I just cant seem to fix. Like quitting smoking and staying quit. I finally had to come to terms with the fact that part of the reason I smoke is because of anger and resentments I still carry. By doing the work to heal these issues Im finally feeling free from this nagging addiction.

I always have client who tell me they will do a boudoir shoot once they loose a few pounds, and one of the best ways to do that is to start with dropping the emotional weight. The scale might not physically move but you will feel lighter instantly. My best advice is to look at your life through honest eyes. If you have an issue or issues that are really weighing you down, try to reevaluate the issue with tolerance, patients, kindness, and love. Take a look at the situation without judgment, define what role you played in that situation, learn what you need to learn from it. Maybe you need to apologize to someone, maybe you need to forgive someone else or yourself, maybe you just need to visualize how you will do things differently in the future. But when your done with your evaluation you must then let it go. it’s one of the best weight loss tips out there and it wont cost you a dime or a minute of gym time.

A woman can not be a soaring flowing creating bad ass if she’s being pinned down with a bunch of resentment and anger. Next time you find yourself holding on to something negative. Ask yourself, do I want to flow and continue to create the life I want, or do I want to be stuck in this pit of blame and fear? It doesn’t matter who upset you, or what, or how. It only matter how you handle it because that is the only thing in life you have any control over. Now take a deep breath and let it go.

Miss D } Anonymous Boudoir Photos

Anonymity is sometimes key when it comes to boudoir photos. We get a lot of woman who might be worried what will happen with their images after the completion of their shoot. Anyone who shows up on our blog, website, Instagram page, or Facebook page has given us permission to do so, and if you would rather your images not get shared, that’s totally fine!

Miss J } Guitars in Boudoir

Wanting to do a shoot for her boyfriend, Miss J brought with her his guitar to use in the photos. It was lots of fun to incorporate this cool prop and to come up with some unique ideas.

Here are some words from Miss J herself about her shoot with us:

“I wanted to do a boudoir shoot for my boyfriend for Christmas with his guitar as a prop , as he is a guitar player and I thought it would be a great way to express myself with his favourite thing to do with the woman he loves in the photo. Calie definitely made me feel comfortable as well as explained and gave me insight and direction for my shoot . All questions and concerns addressed in a professional and friendly environment. The self confidence I experienced before my shoot was so great and exciting that not only did I feel great about myself I felt more sexy than I have in years! I felt ABSOLUTELY SEXY!! I loved all my photos!  Which made it very hard to choose . The work was absolutely stunning and professional. Definitely the best work I’ve ever seen for a boudoir shoot!  This was a very special Christmas gift for my boyfriend! His response was he literally shed tears when he opened it ! Which made it even more special ! He ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT”

Miss J } Moral Support

I just love when woman support other woman. Life is hard enough as it is, why not support all those special woman in your life whenever you can. This lovely lady brought some moral support in with her for her shoot, and her friend was the best cheerleader to have in that room that day. She even brought another friend in with her to help her choose her images out, and what better way to pick your photos then to have that second opinion of someone you trust. It was awesome to see these two woman supporting their friend in any way that they could.
