Dear future self who are you?

I am a woman who has grown strong and sturdy because of my past, my willingness to face my shortcomings, and my determination to grow from them. 

My spiritual wellness is my number one priority at all times. Prayer and meditation or part of my day, every day, morning and night. My connection to source energy comes before any other connection so my connections with other people can be practice with spiritual principles.

I love and respect my body so much that treating it as such is never a question. I’m active daily and I feel my body with real nutrition. I eat intuitively so I can give my body what it needs and in the right amount. 

Every day I look for ways to be of service to others. It might be my husband, someone in my family, a client, or a stranger on the street if I can be helpful, I will. 

This is a small part of the work I have been doing with my journal entries. My current practice is to write out projections of the person I want to be. By writing these things out I can cultivate my desired self into something real. It’s been fun to play around with and its also helping to bring me into alignment with my future self.

Miss M came to us with a specific look in mind! We are very open here and will shoot to whatever look or style you are looking for! Miss M had done a boudoir shoot before but wanted to try something a little different this time round. Wanting to keep things more girly / pretty, we made sure to keep that vibe in the photos themselves and not just the outfits that she chose. I am loving these soft colours she found and used for her shoot. Definitely giving her photos a girly pretty vibe.

I absolutely enjoyed working with Calie and sarina. They we’re so much fun and made the experience very easy. The studio was simple to find. They definitely know how to boost a woman’s confidence when your in front of the camera. My husband was extremely impressed with the girls when he came in to view photos. Outfits are key in how your boudoir photos will turn out. I always say that outfits are half the battle and once you have that figured out the rest is really easy. High waisted panties can really help accentuate a woman’s curves and help draw your eye in and make the waist look smaller, so if you’ve got a little more curves going on you should definitely try out a high waisted panty. This curvy babe had the cutest outfits, and I am still gushing over the floral see through crop top and matching panties should found from Torrid. Scroll below to see it!

Maternity Boudoir Photos Edmonton } Miss C

I can’t get over how cute this girl is! Miss C was one hot mama, and absolutely rocked her shoot with us. She had the cutest baby belly I have ever seen, and chose to do some really cute outfits, some that were sexy, some that were cute, and then we even decided to try some nude and with the white sheet. I just love photographing maternity photos and really wish we get more opportunities to do shoots like this as we can get a little more creative with different ways in showing off that baby bump. Did you know that we offer complimentary consultations? Even if you don’t have a shoot booked with us or are just looking for some more information, you can book one. And there is no obligation to book!

Consults are 30 minutes long, this is a great opportunity for you to see our studio, meet with your photographer, and plan your outfits. We highly recommend booking a consult if you have the time. Consults can be booked Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 7:30pm. Let us know what day of the week and time works well for appointments for you and we will find you a spot.

We get a lot of women before their boudoir shoot who are worried with what is actually going to happen during their shoot. They wonder if they are the ones who are supposed to come up with the poses? What kind of facial expressions do I do? Don’t panic! That is what we are here for, we come up with all the poses and guide you through different facial expressions so that is nothing you have to worry about.

We are really open to any ideas though so if you have something you cool you want to try that is totally fine too. We take a look at what kind of outfits you bring in, what kind of body type are you, and what types of things are you wanting to flaunt and what kind of things do you not want to.
