Miss N } Pink Blush Boudoir

Bridal Boudoir is one of the most common gifts a bride will give to her special someone! During the summer we can book up quite quickly between boudoir shoots and shooting actual weddings so be sure to message us at least a month prior to your wedding actually happening to get in to the studio on time! Miss N wanted to surprise her special someone to some fabulously sexy photos of herself. Her outfit choices were on point, we are in love with the cute see through romper she used as well.

Did you know that we photograph weddings too? Our sister company, In White Studios, is our wedding photography side of our business. We have recently decided that instead of only posting our boudoir photos on our blog that we would post our wedding photos as well!

Flashback to a wedding that we shot in September 2017, Gillian was first a boudoir client who turned in a close friend of mine. Being a bridesmaid, makeup artist, and photographer was a changeling but fun feat. With the help of Calie we made the day a complete success, here are some lovely images who captured from her wedding day.

Curvy Miss J } YEG Pride Boudoir Shoot

This will be Miss J’s second time here at our studio! She is so much fun and has lots of personality and always wants that to resonate into her photos. After her first shoot she had so many more ideas for round 2. The first and foremost important outfit was her Pride outfit, and how cute is her matching tutu and nipple pasties. We are in love with this outfit.

In addition to this super cute idea, she brought some great outfits but some really cool accessories to add in to each look. If you are in need of some ideas of where you can take your boudoir outfit to, give this girl a look, lots of ideas below.

Boudoir Photography - Bra & Panty Sets

We get a lot of questions here as to what you should wear for your boudoir shoot. It is probably the most asked question! Here is a great example of how you can wear a bra and panty set for each outfit change but still make them feel very different from outfit to outfit. Adding in a garter belt and stockings can give the outfit a more sexy feel and change the look completely. Adding in a cool body jewelry piece can also add that little extra something to your outfit. And of course changing up your colours will help give different vibes to each one as well.

Miss L } Photography Edmonton Pink Blush Boudoir

There is nothing I like more then when a women walks into my studio already displaying the confidence she should have. It is something that happens far to frequently in my opinion. I have so many stunning women who come to me for pictures that really don’t think they are sexy, or even pretty. At times I have been completely heartbroken just listening to a women’s story and hearing the words she uses to describe herself.

Im so grateful I have the opportunity to work with some of these women so I can help them see things differently. It’s amazing what a shift in our perception of ourselves can accomplish. I’d like to encourage women to try to find that shift without outside sources, but sometimes we need a little help. That’s why I love shooting Boudoir. It can be that shift in our reflection that we need.

Another great way to shift our perception is to look for women who inspire us. I think Miss L is a wonderful example of a woman who’s confidence game is on point. She has her own confidence boosting brand on instagram called @power_confidence, I highly recommend you take a look at her page. She is full of energy and constantly challenging herself to grow. You can’t help but notice this woman’s energy when she walks into the room. The same confidence you feel in her presence comes through in her images, and it is absolutely sexy.

Boudoir & Accessories } Photographer Edmonton

Boudoir is great in that you can add shoes, jewellery, stockings, jackets, etc. into your outfits and photos to add an extra element of fun! Miss E had some great outfits and with a little accessorizing it helped pull everything together. Jewellery can definitely make or break the photos and I am loving everything we selected for her shoot. She even brought in this very cool full body jewellery piece that we paired with her purple bra and panty set, match made in heaven!

Even add in her blazer for a couple shots with her black lingerie set gives the outfit more depth. What do you think? Do you like accessories in boudoir?

The Dark Room } Photographer Edmonton Pink Blush Boudoir

This Spring we had to have some repairs done to the studio so all of our sets had to be moved into our dark room for stage. Since we still needed to be able to shoot during some of these repairs we decide to set up our bed set in the dark room and we love it so much we haven’t taken it out yet.
