Eden Adventures: Hair, Makeup & What to Bring

Eden Adventures are a little different than in-studio sessions—this is where we lean into natural, effortless, wild feminine energy ✨

Hair

For these shoots, I don’t provide full hair styling on location.

I recommend wearing your hair loose and flowing to match the environment. Movement in your hair adds so much magic to outdoor images.

If your curls tend to fall:

  • Pin them up for the drive

  • Use velcro rollers to help hold volume

  • Let your hair down once we arrive

The goal is soft, touchable, undone beauty—not overly styled and stiff.

Makeup

Please arrive with your makeup already done.

That said, I always recommend bringing your makeup bag with you to the shoot location. Once we arrive, I can:

  • help with touch-ups

  • apply lashes

  • adjust anything needed for the lighting and environment

We keep it simple, but still elevated.

What to Bring (This Part Matters)

Eden shoots often involve a bit of hiking and moving between locations, so packing smart makes your experience way more enjoyable.

Please bring:

  • A backpack (this is key—you’ll need your hands free)

  • A water bottle to stay hydrated

  • Easy on/off clothing to change between sets

  • Your outfits + accessories (you will have access to the client closet before we head out)

I will bring:

  • Large robes

  • Towels

👉 Just make sure you leave space in your bag to carry these along with your outfits.

Footwear

Think practical, but easy.

  • Slip-on shoes are ideal (Crocks are actually perfect for this)

  • Especially at water locations where you may need to step into the river

You’re welcome to wear proper shoes for hiking, just keep in mind:

  • Some waterfall locations require walking through shallow water

  • You’ll want something you can quickly switch in and out of

Road Trip Snacks

I will bring a collection of snacks, please let me know if you have any allergies.

Final Note

This experience is meant to feel free, natural, and a little wild.

Less perfection.
More presence.
