There is nothing I like more then when a women walks into my studio already displaying the confidence she should have. It is something that happens far to frequently in my opinion. I have so many stunning women who come to me for pictures that really don’t think they are sexy, or even pretty. At times I have been completely heartbroken just listening to a women’s story and hearing the words she uses to describe herself.

Im so grateful I have the opportunity to work with some of these women so I can help them see things differently. It’s amazing what a shift in our perception of ourselves can accomplish. I’d like to encourage women to try to find that shift without outside sources, but sometimes we need a little help. That’s why I love shooting Boudoir. It can be that shift in our reflection that we need.

Another great way to shift our perception is to look for women who inspire us. I think Miss L is a wonderful example of a woman who’s confidence game is on point. She has her own confidence boosting brand on instagram called @power_confidence, I highly recommend you take a look at her page. She is full of energy and constantly challenging herself to grow. You can’t help but notice this woman’s energy when she walks into the room. The same confidence you feel in her presence comes through in her images, and it is absolutely sexy.

Boudoir & Accessories } Photographer Edmonton

Boudoir is great in that you can add shoes, jewellery, stockings, jackets, etc. into your outfits and photos to add an extra element of fun! Miss E had some great outfits and with a little accessorizing it helped pull everything together. Jewellery can definitely make or break the photos and I am loving everything we selected for her shoot. She even brought in this very cool full body jewellery piece that we paired with her purple bra and panty set, match made in heaven!

Even add in her blazer for a couple shots with her black lingerie set gives the outfit more depth. What do you think? Do you like accessories in boudoir?

The Dark Room } Photographer Edmonton Pink Blush Boudoir

This Spring we had to have some repairs done to the studio so all of our sets had to be moved into our dark room for stage. Since we still needed to be able to shoot during some of these repairs we decide to set up our bed set in the dark room and we love it so much we haven’t taken it out yet. Outfit Colour Ideas } Boudoir Photos Edmonton

I just loved these outfits that this girl brought in for her shoot. First of all the yellow bra and panty set is so unique, and we don’t get to see this fabulous colour in the studio as often as I’d like. And second, I love the see through mesh purple bodysuit with her matching purple high heels, so cute. Seriously this girl has some legs for days though. Did you know that choosing a high cut panty or bodysuit helps accentuate your leg length as well so if you've got some great legs you'd like to show of for your shoot, be sure to choose a high cut, you can thank us later ;)

Not really sure what kind of outfits you want to wear for your shoot? Can’t decide if you want a more casual look or something more sexy? Why no try both! Miss T had lots of cool outfit ideas from casual to sexy. And just because something is more casual like a tank top doesn’t mean that we can’t make it more sexy with the posing anyways!

OMG. Calie & Sarina... they are an incredible pair. The location is easy to find, the place was very welcoming and the shoot rooms make you feel at ease. It was amazing! They help you choose outfits, pose and make you feel like you're the most beautiful gal in the world. I'd recommend Pink Blush in a heartbeat. I did it as a birthday treat for myself and it was the best gift ever for my boyfriend.

Miss J and all of her tattoos! This babe came to us in March and had some wicked tattoos and outfit ideas! She actually used tattoos to cover up some scarring she had, what a cool idea. I just love how they all look together with the outfits she chose.
